Online therapy offers you the convenience of traditional face-to-face sessions but conducted via a live video platforms (Zoom or Teams), all from the comfort of your own home or workplace.
We can use these platforms to share screens with you when we are drawing out cycles or visuals, and we can easily share any materials with you for your reflection in between sessions which can enhance the therapeutic process.
The team at the Online Psychologists specialise in various evidence-based therapies, including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy and more. Yes. Most insurance providers including AXA PPP, BUPA, Vitality Health, AVIVA, WPA, and Cigna will cover the cost of your sessions with your therapist. Once you’ve given them the name of your matched therapist at The Online Psychologists they will issue you with a code that you can then use when you book.

We are registered will all major insurance providers and therapy is covered under most policies. If you are self-funding, then session costs are £120 per 50 minutes.

Of course! The relationship with your therapist really important, so we want to ensure that you feel your therapist is a good match for you and someone who you feel able to talk to. Our mission is to offer tailored and personalised support which fits around you.

This can vary enormously depending on the person and what they bring to therapy. We suggest a minimum of five sessions, but on average we see people for around 15-20 sessions. After your first consultation we will be able to give a more accurate plan of what we recommend.

We use Zoom and Teams, both highly secure and GDPR compliant. We are able to provide you with instructions if these are new to you.
